How long did it take you to get through college? Were you a traditional four years? Five? Somewhere in between?
Four years, but it would have been more if I hadn’t gone in with so much AP credit.
4 years for my bachelors. I took classes every summer in order to do that because I changed my major and a class I took for stats credit suddenly didn’t count. Plus it took a couple tries to get calculus down. My masters took 1 year.
Four years for undergrad, even though none of the numerous AP classes I took in high school ended up counting toward my degree due to the unique nature of my school. I’m about to finish my Alternative Licensure Program after two years. It’s designed as a two or three semester program, but I spread it over four because I was also taking on being a first year teacher. I took four years off after undergrad and wanted to give myself a chance to ease back into academics. It’s been a much more balanced experience than it would have been if I’d tried to rush through.
